Charities
The charities were established in the 17th century for the purpose of providing bread to the poorer members of the community in an age almost totally lacking in social welfare provision
The Poors Land owns the plot of land which consists of the allotments and the adjacent grass keep on Woolaston Common. Woolaston Woodlands Recreation Trust owns two plots of land, Woolaston Common Wood and Parkhill Common Wood.
