Planning

The parish clerk receives an email consultation for all planning applications/notifications with a link to Public Access to enable the councillors to make a comment online. The Parsh Council is a statutory consultee – Councillors have no powers to approve or reject planning applications, but can and do make comments on applications.
The agenda for the forthcoming meeting is published at least 3 days prior to the council meeting. Whilst the parish council considers and comments on all planning applications affecting the parish, the controlling authority is Forest of Dean District Council who can choose to take on board or ignore our comments.
You can find full details of all current and decided planning applications as well as information about the planning process on the Forest of Dean District Council Website
