Woolaston VE Day Commemoration

Woolaston Parish Council commemorated VE Day 80 in Woolaston Memorial Hall on Thursday 8 May 2025.

Residents gathered to remember and honour the bravery and sacrifice of those who served during the Second World War.

Following the Tribute, read by members of the Parish Council, everyone joined together in a rendition of ‘I Vow to Thee, My Country’. The Last Post, a one m together in a rendition of ‘I Vow to Thee, My Country’. The Last Post, a one minute silence and Reveille concluded the proceedings.
